Wheels / Tires
Anyone know what size tires will fit on a 91 CRX? I'm in SM2 so I can put any size wheel/tire that will fit. A 13" wheel won't fit so maybe a 14x9 is my best bet?

225/50x15" is too tall of a tire for a Civic, which is why you are running into fender rubbing problems. The right size would be 225/45x15" or even 225/40x15" if there's such a size.

What R compound do you suggest for auto cross that is around the comparable price?? I am not too fond of the RA1's because it took them about 8 runs to heat up good enough to really act right and we were on a track that was coned off

I would get the Kumho V710s. Don't know if they come in the right size. Hoosiers have gone downhill since the A3S04s. The 5s and 6s I heard get greasy after 3 runs.

I would like to get a 225/45/13 tire because it is a little smaller and should help my gearing. Hoosier makes a tire that size but from what I hear Kumho is a much better tire.
Kumho only makes a 215/50/13 tire (About the same size as the street tires I'm running now). I believe the tire contact patch would actually be about the same but the Kumo 50 series is about 1" taller.
Is 1" worth it? The Hoosiers don't seem to get very good reviews but I haven't seen another 45 series for that size.
