vid: probably my fastest run.
well, i missed out on this years nationals.. i was to make my debut in STU co-driving the car i setup for a friend. unfortunately, a last minute project came up so he couldn't go so i passed.
this is the first regional championship after the nationals and all the national winners are back, and surprisingly, most of them attended. my civic in fsp isn't a nationally competitive car by any means, but it handles well.. this is probably the fastest i've ever run.. by pax index, i beat tom berry, will kalman, ken motonishi, rita wilsey, and many more of the top names.. i'm thrilled..
with my other video's, you can catch most of the action.. this one is quite a blurr.. my 3rd & final run of the championship. enjoy..

had i not coned, i would have been 3rd out of 244 people in the pax index losing to only karl asseily (dsp prosolo finale 2nd), ryan buetzer (multiple 2005 national tour champ).. looks like i have to settle for 7th.. a tenth of a sec. behind george doganis (05 csp national champ) :crazyr:

i don't think patrick comes out to solo2 events anymore.. i haven't seen him the whole year.. mike was supposed to go to the nationals, but i think his father is ailing so he's been out recently.. i hope everything is ok..
another sad note, karl said that he'll be leaving the country and going back home for good.. that'll suck losing a great competitor and friend.

crap! I learned more in 1 day with Karl riding shotgun with me than anyone else
Pat and Mike were supposed to build a top secret car but I guess that is history now. Pat sold his silver Z52 mcoupe and bought a white S54 mcoupe. He is doing track days now.
