Default Registration?

How do I register for an event? It says on myautoevents.com that I need an SCCA registration number? Do I just go to scca.org and register? How much does it cost? Is there anything else I have to do? I need to register by tommorow. Thanks.

I'm kind of nervous because SM2 (that's the class I am in right?) probably has purpose built cars in it, and I am running on all seasons as well as being all stock besides the swap. h:

Yeah you screwed yourself with the swap. But hey you are supposed to have fun your 1st year or two anyway

To get an SCCA number you need to go to the SCCA website. I'm not sure if you can do it online or over the phone. But to get your SCCA card takes a couple of weeks.

Next time don't wait to the last minute SCCA membership is like $75 now.

So I won't be able to attend if I register now?

The only reason it became a last minute thing is I had to make sure I wasn't losing my license which happened yesterday.

It depends. If you call Membership Services they might be able to give you a number over the phone today.

Not all regions require SCCA membership to drive. So check out that regions website or contact someone from that region. Some allow you to sign up for membership at the site, some don't.

at our events you can register the day - of, but there are penalties in terms of dollars for that, ($10). If you attend 8 events in a year it pays for itself... if just a few a year it doesnt make it worth the $75...
