How good of a car do you need to race?

I don't know if there's downhills probably not since it's safer to go uphill and that's why it's call hill climbs
And yes they are public roads that are closed off. Duryea (same as Pagoda but longer) is in Reading in the spring, and Pagoda is in the fall (Pagoda at the top of the mountain). Actually Duryea is coming up at the end of this month.

h: Also probably looked slow after I rode a CBR954RR the first time that day, everything looks slow after you get off of that.
About how fast did he get going? It sounded like the bottom of fourth.

If you just do events you could just be making the same mistakes over and over again and not improve.

Yeah....central illinois has a school every spring...I think I'll aim at fitting that into my schedule then hitting up some events. I really don't think it would be a good idea to use my Civic in races, so i'll probably save up lots of money till then and look at buying an RSX or something. Hopefully all goes as planned...
I really appreciate all the help I get on these boards.

-change rotors
-change brake pads
-flush brake fluid
-change oil every 10,000 miles
-change oil filter every 3000 miles
-flush tranny fluid
-add fuel injector cleaner every 3000 miles
and that's about it. Nothing has ever broke on me *knock on wood*

Why do you only change your oil every 10,000 miles?
