it's for an accord

it may sound like a big size (it does to me still) but the diameter of 225/35/17 tire is the same diameter as 205/50/15 so no problems there (unfortunately means it's not a problem to fit it under pesky little civics too)....i'm not really concerned about weight at this point of the game either

so...you get shorter sidewall..lighter tire (maybe...azenis are heavy as hell...don't know about the shaved fk451 though)....and more contact patch =) i'm just not sure how a super short sidewall will like a fwd car, especially when near the limits

i would really like to try this and see what happens...but i can't justify spending $130 per tire, cost of mounting 17's, cost of getting them shaved = rather go to fsp and play with 14" r compounds lol

You would be better off on 205/50x15" Azenis or the 215/40x16" FK451s.
