Default Gloves

I'm hoping to finally get out and autox this summer... it just takes so much time.

Usually I just go karting cuz I can run over there during a long lunch and get a bunch of laps in. In and out quick. They prep the car, I just come, sit, drive, leave..... so I get a fricken blister today because I decided to go to a different karting place that doesn't give you gloves.

I just need a cheap, nice pair of gloves that work. I'm thinking about just getting those Mechanics gloves. I know they're for working on your car, not driving one. But I saw CivicSiRacer using em and thought I keep a clean pair just for driving with.

Or should I look elsewhere?

What am I looking for?

I've found the Mechanix gloves work the best for me. Very thin fingers and palms, which give better feedback than other gloves. The reason for gloves for autocross is so you get consistent grip on the steering wheel. Sometimes in the summer you get hot and sweaty and I've lost grip on my steering wheel costing me a run.
