Your car starts out in GS, same class my 2000 Civic Si would start out in, but your car is like 500lbs lighter. But the swap automatically puts you into SM2 where the Corvette Z06 rules. Although you have a good chance depending on the course.

But this is your 1st year so you should worry about getting as much seat time as you can and just have fun this year. Get someone to drive with you, drive the car for you, hop in other people's cars (if they let you) and just learn this year.

let me make it clear. no it does not.

 

Sounded a little crazy to me.

 

If we had a multi link rear suspension, maximum negative camber, fine balancing, etc..to make it short, if we had a race team prep a CRX, I bet it would beat a stock Z06. = ) If you don't believe me, just wait and see. = ) But it will be an EK not a CRX or actually a MR-S.

sure a stock one but considering the front tires on the z06 that compete at my region have 295s at the front end...

well you know what i'm getting at, it doesn't hurt that the driver is a national champ

 

Beat a stok Z06? On a road course or an AutoX course? Road course it might be close, but Autox: I watched a multi-time SS champ drive an 04 Z06, with a broken tranny (stuck in 2nd) to a class win at a National Tour in Houston, when the car is perfect, he embarasses people in much higher prepared classes.

 

yeah i was referring to autox. I hate them things... so much so that I may join them in the not too distant future.

 

I saw one with 335's or some insane number like that one the rears. That's twice as wide as what I've seen on a stock 88 civic h:. That is crazy.

 

If I had the money, I'd jump in the AS fracous: in a C4 'Vette. Mixing it up with the STi, the S2K, the Evo (ok not so much...but still in the class) and other C4's
