Default Clarification of Rules for Stock Class Category G

Anyone here Auto-Cross in the Greater Los Angeles area? I'd really like to get some people together so we can practice before season. Also, since I'm new to SCCA Auto-X I have a couple questions. I ordered the rulebook and some of the rules still confuse me. So, my question is can you guys clarify the exact rules on Stock Class Category G for me? It would be really helpful.
Thanks

Stock Class Category G for a 1995 Acura Integra GS-R
1.1 Bodywork
I can't have anything like aftermarket wings, sideskirts, lips, bumpers, rear bumpers, sideskirts, etc.?
1.2 Tires
Tires are run on 195/55VR15 Yokohama ESV 100 Tires
1.3 Wheels
Wheels have to be stock size running on 195/55VR15 size tires?
1.4 Shock Absorbers
Aftermarket shock absorbers may be used as long as they cannot have more than two adjustment settings...does this mean that I cannot use coilovers because you can adjust three settings on them. Basically I have to run a stock shock absorber system?
1.5 Brakes
Stock brake system but, aftermarket pads may be used.
1.6 Sway Bars
Stock rear and front sway bars?
1.7 Suspension
Stock suspension system no modification?
1.8 Electrical
Stock electrical system...no messing with the ECU?
1.9 Engine and Drive Train
-Will replace stock air filter with K&N Filter
-You cannot port and polish the head?
-Aftermarket exhaust can be applied from the catalytic converter down?
-What are water expansion and oil catch tanks?
-What are scattershields?
-What are silicone hose replacements?

Correct

No you can not run coilovers in stock class because of the springs. In stock class, you cannot change the springs.

1.5 Brakes
Stock brake system but, aftermarket pads may be used.

correct, as well as any brake fluid.

1.6 Sway Bars
Stock rear and front sway bars?

correct. you can change or even remove the front sway but you cannot change or add/remove/disconnect the rear way.

1.7 Suspension
Stock suspension system no modification?
1.8 Electrical
Stock electrical system...no messing with the ECU?
1.9 Engine and Drive Train
-Will replace stock air filter with K&N Filter
-You cannot port and polish the head?

Nope

-Aftermarket exhaust can be applied from the catalytic converter down?

yep

-What are water expansion and oil catch tanks?

expansion tank is for your radiator (should already have one), oil catch you shouldn't have to worry unless you are boosted, if you are you wont be in stock class anyways.

-What are scattershields?
-What are silicone hose replacements?

I put my answers in the above, quote.

BTW I'm not sure how you will practice, unless the club is holding a specific practice session. You can't just go to a parkinglot and drive around cones.

Also don't worry too much about your car. Just be prepared to be humbled and to learn/realized that you are not a fantastic driver. We've all been there.

bumpers, sideskirts, etc.?

what he said

1.2 Tires
Tires are run on 195/55VR15 Yokohama ESV 100 Tires

you can run any sized tire on a stock rim. For stock classes you can run DOT R tires

1.3 Wheels
Wheels have to be stock size running on 195/55VR15 size tires?

Wheels have to be same size as OEM wheels. Including width and diameter. Offset can be within +/- 1/4"

1.4 Shock Absorbers
Aftermarket shock absorbers may be used as long as they cannot have more than two adjustment settings...does this mean that I cannot use coilovers because you can adjust three settings on them. Basically I have to run a stock shock absorber system?

You can use aftermarket shocks that have compression and/or rebound settings and have same height as stock. You cannot change the springs at all

1.5 Brakes
Stock brake system but, aftermarket pads may be used.

Correct

1.6 Sway Bars
Stock rear and front sway bars?

In stock class you can change the front sway bar to a larger one

1.7 Suspension
Stock suspension system no modification?

Correct - unless you follow the above.

1.8 Electrical
Stock electrical system...no messing with the ECU?

Correct - no messing with ECU

1.9 Engine and Drive Train
-Will replace stock air filter with K&N Filter has to be same type as stock
-You cannot port and polish the head? cannot touch anything
-Aftermarket exhaust can be applied from the catalytic converter down?Correct
-What are water expansion and oil catch tanks?no need to worry about these
-What are scattershields? no need to worry about these
-What are silicone hose replacements?
as far as I know not legal

I have some follow up questions about the kinds of mods that are acceptable in Stock class....

For the body work, what if it was a factory option (like the factory spoiler)
Also in the vein of bodywork, how about things like modded head lights (ie DIY CTR or something like that) or factory option fog lights?

For brakes, how about changing rotors (ie if I put Brembo blanks with upgraded pads)?

Last thing I was curious abou is how short shifters fit into the picture?

Thanks.

Factory wings/spoilers and headlight mods are not going to not really breakign the rules, the bodywork ruled is really there to keep people from adding wings and spoilsers large enough to help them in autocroos.

Any OEM non-drilled, non-slotted sized rotor can be used, as long as it is the same diamater and width as the stock rotor.

Short shifts are a no.
