Problem is the EF Civic and the RSX Type S are the only CSP cars allowed in STS. CSP is a fast class. Stock though the EF Civic is in HS, but once you add mods to this car it transforms into something awesome. The RSXS is too porky to do well, although it can happen. A Celica GT took a trophy home at Nationals this year.

I've driven 2-3 STS EF Civics and they are like go-karts. I even drove Chris Shenefield's EF Civic back in 2002. And on my 1st run I was already 1 second faster than my car on the same course.

They are 2 seaters so they are not legal in STS.

i always thought the b14 would be a top contender...pretty light...good power (for class)...good torque (more than most hondas in its class)...don't they or the g20's come with a stock lsd as well?

Some people have tried that route too. I think that car's problem is you cannot fit anything wider than the 205 Azenis PLUS it's as heavy as my Civic.

So the hatch qualifies because it has back seats.
What if you imported a CRX SiR? Back seats, B16a, LSD, big brakes, better suspension. That would probably dominate. Has anyone done that? Is it legal if it is registered?
