Default STX Rules

I quote SCCA rulebook:

"Engine size allowance: up to 5.1, normally aspirated and 2.0, forced induction (single turbo or supercharger)."

Does this mean I can turbo my integra and run it in this class as long as its under 2.0L?

No I don't believe so. That's if the car was forced inducted from the factory I believe. You add a turbo or s/c to your integra and you will be in SM.

what he said... the ST classes are just one step up from stock. If you want to turbo your teg, get ready to run with the dedicated solo bimmers (if there are any in your region, if not, prolly not much of a problem )

The only cars allowed to be turboed are:

VW 1.8T
Audi 1.8T
Saab 1.8T
Volvo 1.8T
Subaru WRX
Mazda 323 GTX
(i'm probably leaving out some, but you get the picture)

And of course it has to be factory. And you cannot change boost levels. You can however add an aftermarket LSD, high flow cat (6" from original location), aftermarket clutch, big brake kit, wider wheels (than STS), wider tires, and motor mounts in STX.

And looking at your mods you are already bumped to Street Mod with the removed rear seats.

So am I Street Prepared Legal? With back seat removed?

Also can I run an LS/Vtec in Street Tourind classes, as a GSR, if head is stock, ie no porting, no trick valves, cams, etc.

What class would a LS/Vtec be classed in?

You need to buy a rule book.

In STS/STX engine internals must remain stock.

Look at it this way. No matter what mods you do you will still suck your first year. So save the money for a novice autocross school or Evolution School (http://www.autocross.com/evolution).

I bet you $100 that you can throw $10,000 into your car and I can beat you in my 1989 Civic Si stock with DOT R tires. Autocrossing is about the driver, so mod the driver first before modding your car.
