Our region is a pretty healthy mix, with our National-thropied drivers mixed in DS, GS, and the Prepared classes.

Sorry didn't get a chance to hang out with you more. We were really short of workers today especially in the timing truck. So on top of taking 600+ pictures I also was the starter and course overseer.

Last in class with a time of 41.5xx.

 

Also realize though that your competitors in HS are really good. Forrest in his Omni, Ben in his Subaru XT6, the guy in the Kia Rio too. HS used to be a HUGE class but people moved on to faster cars.

 

Those guys are wicked fast... I know I can be competitive in another 4 or 5 events as I learn the art more. Zack was saying there are 2 more events there next weekend and weekend after that? I definately wanna get as much seat time as I can this year. Also... how come you fellers don't do paid fun runs. I was hoping to pay like a dollar or two to get some extra track time. But, I can get the membership... do you have a link? Thanks.

 

No we just have one more event on Sunday. Next event is PA States on October 24th at Hershey Park. There are events with the Capital Driving Club (LOOK it up).

We do free fun runs if you are an SCCA or club member. It's only $12. I don't think we have a membership application online.

 

My biggest issue is the drive, its 3 hrs to my brother and sister in law's place. Then Grantville is about 40 minutes away, so I am usually looking at a 4 hr drive back to WV. :eek3:

I am hoping next year I don't have to be in class or work Mondays so I can drive back on Monday and not have to rush.

 

There's gotta be closer autocroses than us? The farthest I will drive for a local autocross is about 2.5 hours. Any longer than that and my kidneys are mush
