Default anyone have 205/50 azenis on 5.5 wide rim?

I just got my azenis mounted today and i know that they should go on a wider rim (since people say the 205's are really like 215's), but anyone have them and running on a 5.5 width rim? they stick out on the sides a little bit (i'll try to get pics) and it seems i lost turn-in response..is this because my rims are way too thin for the tire? i didn't get a chance to push them because they are brand new but i just wanna hear other people's responses with a similar setup

While not the best it should work. The best setup is on a 7-7.5" wide rim.

When I used to autocross more seriously I ran 215/50/15 bFG r1's on a 5.5 rim and 205 Kuhmo Victoracers on 5.5 rims and they worked great.

Agreed. Give them some more time, and futz with the pressures. I assume they're different tires than the ones they are replacing, so they're gonna drive differently and need different pressures.

They also need about 500-1000 miles to be properly broken in.

He didn't ask if they were on a 6.5".
