the other major one is NASA (more on the coasts), but local Z-clubs, bmw clubs, porche clubs often host private autocrosses too... and they're usually happy to have guests.

Depending on which NASA Region you belong to will dictate whether they hold autocrosses. The newly formed Southeast Region, based here in Charlotte, NC held an autocross as its first event, and NASA holds primarily roadcourse weekends.

There are assorted local sports car clubs out there that may not be affiliated with SCCA. For example, SCCA has a Milwaukee region but over here in Madison folks don't necessarily feel like making the trip every weekend. So there's a Madison Sports Car Club that organizes Solo-II style events plus some high speed events on smaller road courses in the area. They also organize some wheel-to-wheel events. It's part of the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Clubs which is kind of a loosely affiliated group. If you're in Wisconsin or Illinois, you might even have one in your town.

AutoX's are primarily held by local clubs.

That's about all the help you'll get without giving your location.
