SINCE 1918...
1. Radio was invented; Red Sox fans got to hear their team lose
2. TV was invented; Red Sox fans got to see their team lose.
3. Flagpoles were erected on the Fenway Park roof to hold all of the team’s future World Series pennants. Those flagpoles have since rusted and been taken down.
4. Babe Ruth hit 60 home runs for the New York Yankees.
5. Man landed on the moon. (In fact, more people have walked on the surface of the moon than the Red Sox have championship trophies.)
6. Many Red Sox fans have been born, died, and never got to see the Sox win a championship.

And then we all think
1) With the money George Steinbrenner pays for his players, they better make the Post Season and win World Series.
2) Yankees have the highest ticket prices in MLB...NL or AL. They also have the highest profit for any sporting event, PERIOD.
3) They buy their team.
If you had nothing to worry about you wouldn't be making this post. I'll keep my mouth shut until the first pitch is thrown.

ha I am not worried at all. I just like to get under redsox fans skin. I think George is a great owner easily the best in baseball. The reason yankees fans are so loyal is because they know that george will always put a competitive team on the field. he is in it to win. Unlike other owners who are solely in it to make profit.
oh yea whats the red sox payroll as of july 15th it was 105million manny is making like 20 million a year and nomar and pedro are right near 15 mil too.
