I used to think he wasn't so bad... then I heard him speak, and I'm sadly dissapointed... I don't think he would be any better than Grey Davis, and the whole recall thing will only make the economic situation worse!

Mind you, if CA was seperated from the US, it would be the world's 5th largest economy ON IT'S OWN. Believe it or not, CA is one of the most pivotal states in the union right now...

All he's said is that he will "Change things" :wtf:
That, and that he will not accept money from special interests like teachers unions and minority right organizations... But the corporations that he's already accepted $10 million from aren't "Special interests", so it's OK...

The guy's ****ing shady

gay davis's biggest flaw is that he doesn't support small buisness, which affects the overall state's economy. my friend's dad owns a small business and he said in the last year, minimum requirement for health insurance, and workers comp increased $20k. if he moves his business to airzona or nevada, most of those costs will be less than a third of what they are here... companies move out of cali, jobs move out of cali, etc.

So taking $65 million (to pay for the special recall election, if it goes through) away from the counties will solve this? Hrm? Where's the logic in that?

And better worker protections are, within reason, always good things...

And the "moving jobs out of CA" thing is bullshit. It's like when people were yelling about the illegal immigrants taking all the jobs... seriously, name a white, upper class, fully schooled member of this society who'd be willing to pick produce for less than minimum wage? It's just the same with business relocation... If it truely was a better choice, and made more economic reason, why hasn't your friend's dad begun the relocation process? Because CA has specific economic benefits which are rarely properly measured in the basic TCO calculations that most small business perform...

I'm outright convinced that Schwartzenager will be the next Regan for California... which is a very bad thing...

Pure bullshit... this guy will tear CA apart...

Like repealing taxes and spending more money will get CA out of a budget crisis...
