Default What to do

I bought some rotors for a 99 cl, and calipers for my car, planned on intalling them to complete the rotor over hub setup, and new calipers/master cylinder. I put them in my trunk, and they must have gotten wet. Both of the rotors have rust and are pitted a little, and some of the caliper. I am going to take the calipers back.. but what can i do about stopping the rust on the caliper. Thankfully its on the top part(not by any screws or anything. I guess I should have primed them and painted them black like i wanted before and it wouldnt have happened.
thanks

Rotors are made of iron. They will rust. It's only the surface though. Once they're actually the car and you use them, the rust will keep getting scraped off before it can become too noticeable.

If you look at most cars on dealer lots for example, they will have rusted rotors.
