room temperature water, food kinda depends.... my mom feeds hers every few days, i'd feed it every day. i'd read the food package.

Under feeding is better than over feeding. Once a day is fine, and not too much, or you'll have to change the water more. If you skip a day don't worry, just continue regularly the next day.

Fish will typically eat like horses, as in they'll eat until their stomachs pretty much explode, they have no concept of leaving some. This is why I say under feeding is better. I feed my fish twice a day (most people say 3) and they're fine. Since it is one fish, once a day will work.

we feed my daughters beta about every other day - been doing that for a few months, so I guess that if fine. Also, room temp. water is just fine.

betta's are the fighing fish right? we bought 2 just for kicks, and put them in a bowl, they went fighing all day and then lasted a few days and gave up the 1st night lol i twas funny cause no one kiled the other, i was disappointed.

Lil, that's kind of...nasty. They're kind of living, you see, and it's just not nice to knowingly have two animals fight eachother for your personal entertainment. You probably know this already.

Yea yea i know it was a horrible thing, but i had heard such great thigns abuot seeing them fight and that one would die and all this other crap so i paid the 3.99 for the fish...
