MD players aren't necessarily the best thing for working out and neither are the new 1.5 GB mini HD players. You want something that you can strap to your arm and isn't gonna skip--i.e. a flash player.

mine's a flash player, came with a clip I can hook it onto my shorts with.

This one has an arm strap I can hook up to....supposedly it has the anti skip features too...:dunno:

Kinda heavy to strap the thing onto your arm though, it's like 4 ounces without the battery or disc. The typical flash player will weigh about 2-2.5 ounces with the battery.

Also it's still got moving parts. Flash memory is solid state y0!

If you're buying the thing mainly as a workout toy I'd go with flash. If you want to use it for a buncha things and you'll work out with it every once in a while, the netMD ain't a bad choice.

saw a guy on ebay that had an arai helmet w/ an mp3 player attached to the back of it....could you recommend one for me to do the same?
