I hate cable internet. The entire freakin' base is on the same node... and it's 8:00 on a Friday night... and about 1500 people on the NNPTC side of the base alone have cable... and it seems that all of them are online at the same time... :wtc:

bah... the only DSL worth getting is 1.5/364?... I had it when I had my apartment...

but DSL requires a phone line... and the phone company sucks for the base...

Comcast cable @ $24.99/mo > phone at $29.99/mo + DSL for $59.99/mo

you get what you pay for. You want good quality and uptime, you're going to pay for it. It's just that.

DSL is, on average, more expensive. But do you want a connection that's better? Yes, then get dsl.

Thats why there's things like Lexus and Acura, it's better quality. You want better quality you're going to pay for it.

 

bah... I've had DSL for 5 years now, and cable is faster most of the time...

 

My cable hasn't worked since wed. I've been on dialup. They say it's their problem and it would be up in 24-48 hours but I think they just don't want to send anybody to my house to fix it.

 

sounds to me like an excuse to play in/with the new car...

Thanks! Well, I'm taking a break on polishing it. DACP you have to work until a powder, my back really hurts. It's looking good though. If it had wax on it then I'd be out driving it.
