Why the hell would you get an F-150 Ecoboost for this task. For the same money he could have gotten a true Super Duty F250/F350 and towed it with ease, and towed even larger loads....This commercial is retarded.

I was going to post about that earlier as well.

I am a Ford guy and wouldn't buy anything else as a work truck, but an F150 is a med/light duty truck and his truck is taking some serious abuse with those loads. Did yiu notice the back end sagging pretty good from the forward shots?

I would be interested to see the exact same truck in a year along with a list of repairs and maintenence, that would impress me a lot more.

I love my 1ton 7.3, just wish the tranny hadn't shit the bed.

exactly, the ass was sagging like crazy, I wouldn't tow a load like that. Also, if he tows shit like that all over the country, A: nothing less than an F250 and B: my tailor would be a gooseneck. Who the hell tows heavy long haul on a hitch ball? I think he said it was only 7800 pounds or something, but it made that F150 squat like a bitch.

I thought you were gonna do a manual conversion on your 7.3?

Still in the plans but the truck is about 600mi west of me. Had to relocate for a bit to find work the PDX area was dry for too long and nearly drove me under.

I wish

I have been asking around in the PDX area for brewing positions but there isn't a lot of turnover in this field unless a brewmaster or head brewer either retires or takes a job with one of the big boys for a while. I have my hands in a couple things here and if things go right there is a chance I may be investing in some equipment with some friends to start our own thing down the road.

What about Eugene? Hop Valley, Oakshire and Ninkasi are all doing large expansions.

It is a thought but trying to be able to get back to where my house is. I suppose I should just get the repairs done and rent it out then move to wherever though.

I will be checking their sites today and dropping some emails to see what comes of it.

Well regardless of where you end up, my fingers are crossed for you.
