MazdaSpeed Protege!!!

My buddy just got one and that thing is sick....plus its not as much of a bandwagon car as the others you mentioned and can be easily upgraded for some pretty impressive power in a comfortable package with affordable repair costs unlike the others you mentioned...especially the Audi those things are a mint to upgrade and repair.

Well, the MSP comes set at a fatory 5psi. At a Mazda Rev It Up event I talked to a major Mazda tuning guy and he said they've boosted them to 15psi on stock internals. Just some tuning required. He stated that its gonna make a blast into the aftermarket real soon and once people are going to realize how potent they are capable of being, it'll be the next SRT-4.

I guess that explains why its only rated at 170 chp from factory.

I would most certainly sport a MSP...in black or grey. Maybe yellow :rick:

Yes I did get a Prelude Si, but that's about to go.........it was a mistake.........long long story. If anyone's interested in either my car or the prelude, let me know. The faster I can get rid of them the better.

Forget the Audi, Ive ruled that out. I really really want AWD so I think I'm going to go with the WRX. I test drove both cars today, and they were both impressive. The Mazdaspeed is a perfect PACKAGE. It has tons of nice features (sound system).........and better styling, plus it was a brand new car, but it doesnt have AWD, and the dealers were playing games with us. The other drawback is that the rear seat armrest doesn't open up to the trunk, so in order to fit my skis, I'd have to fold down one of the seats which eliminates room for a fourth passenger.

The WRX is one year old. It's black and has 18k miles on it. It's in absolutely perfect shape, and has an upgraded BOV, AEM air intake, and Greddy exhaust. It also has the Subaru Gold bumper to bumper warranty, so it's good for up to 2008. The dealer was asking 24k () for it, but we're friends with one of the guys that works there, and he's willing to let it go to us for 18,500.........which seems like a pretty damn good deal to us. The armrest in the middle folds out to the trunk, which means I can put all our ski equipment in and still fit four people. It also has AWD. I'm pretty much set on this car because it's much more practical for me than the mazdaspeed, I just have to find people to buy the integra and prelude with a quickness.

I do have to say one thing about all of this and that is: Damn you Honda for not making AWD sedans. :madfawk:

Also, saw a few of the new TL's today........and I have to say those are the sickest cars Acura has ever had.

tell us the story about the Lude, we thought it was mint :dunno:

Why are you so set on getting rid of the teg too? I thought you loved it so much that's why you got the lude to protect it while at school.

If you don't like changing to snow tires then you won't like the Mazdaspeed, it comes with summer tires stock.

However a WRX with summer tires isn't going to be that great in the snow either. Basically summer tires are crap in snow regardless of which wheels are being driven.

Why do you necessarily need AWD? It doesn't get THAT bad.
