Default TICKET! (illegal uturn)

Arlington, Virginia

Court date is set for a week from now. Even though this is a small fine, I don't want this to show up on my record which is why I'm going to court (insurance reasons). This is my first moving violation in 6yrs (last one was speeding).

Any suggestions? I'm hoping the officer doesn't show, what if he does? What should I plead?

Thanks

find out where the cop lives.... then the day before the courte date, club him in the legs like a baby seal. Don't be seen of course.

but if i plead guilty, why not just mail in the fine and save myself the trouble of going to court?

the only hope being if the cop doesnt show?

what would happen if i were to plead not-guilty

if not guilty you would need to defend yourself or get a great lawyer....and still you must get a good judge

i've seen people get out of wreckless speeding but thats easy with calibration tests

no contest, why not take a class? It wont show up on your license then. Pay the fine, take a class. That's how it works in FL.
