I use a bootlegged copy of Vegas Pro. It allows you to visualize the entire film clip as a reel, trim and chop what you don't need, and re-publish as needed.

Vegas is a better overall program due to it's intuitive design and stable functioning.
Premiere is overly complicated for even the simplest of processes and eats RAM like it was Skittles.
