Not to say that you shouldn't resolve to do things. But like for example, "not getting pregnant" is something you would probably want to do anyway.

If you wanna go to the gym more, go to the gym more.

If you wanna spend less money, spend less money.

I know it's repetitive but all too often people say they want to do something and even if it's not some huge deal they never get around to doing it. Making it a New Years resolution lets you put it off til January and by then you're like bah fuck it nobody sticks to their resolution anyway.

Not to say that I don't tell myself at least a couple times a week that I need to get on the damn treadmill more often and I don't do it, but who cares?

And the key to living life ('Swingers' taught me this, btw):

Appreciate everything you've got. If you can look at your shit and say "wow, I've got it pretty good" then you're set.
