only thing i'm concerned about is that it's already been raining for the past two days, so non stop rain for the next five or so days won't be good. the sump pump is going to be running non-stop.
i've extended all gutters away from the house and garage.
apparently everywhere is sold out of generators and batteries.
i'm not really concerned about losing power.
my house is "connected" to a sub-station for the giant neighborhood behind my house, according to the last owner (who lived here for 40 years), they have never lost power :x:

the weather channel makes it sound like the world is going to end.

Hurricane is starting to hit pretty hard. There are a few reports of tree's down in the area but Erik just left to walk to the bar...so I guess it's still not thaaaat windy :chuckles:
The one time of the year it would actually be comfortable to have a hurricane in LA, it heads east. :chuckles:
But seriously, stay safe guys. I always fill up some zip-lock bags with water and toss them in the freezer if I have room. When the power goes out, it keeps the freezer cold an extra two or so days.
