the best music i play for studying is by the band Weekend players.......really chill cool stuff. It also doubles as good long roadtrip driving music and is sexy enuff to play for the ladies when u wanna put em in the mood

I always listen to Sigur Ros while i'm writing. Nice and slow and made-up words make it hard to be distracted by the singing Any of their songs should do, but i can recommend some if you like.

I'd listen to fob songs because I can ignore it while being unconciously appeased.

So...i'd suggest backstreet boys for you.
