Default Car was hard to start question

Hi, I don't have an Acura, but my GF does, and wondered if you could help if someone might poiint me in the right direction. She had trouble starting her car today. It would turn over but it would not start up. AFter doing this a few times it finally did start. A few days before we washed the car, but did not drive it after we did that. Could it be that water got in somewhere and would not start it?

TIA

Could be...

Battery
Alternator
Fuel pump
Spark plugs
