Default Swapping a motor seems so stressful...

A kid is doing it in my auto-tech class. Hes putting a 97 golf moter into a like 84 GTI. They dont have directions or anything. Just going with it. Its been like 3 weeks now. But my auto-tech teacher keeps putting things ahead of it. Seems so stressful and I dont think I could wait that long!

I wouldn't do anything like that without instructions or anything.

I wouldn't do it in your auto class, unless they would let you go in after school and work there yourself after class.

The only way I'd do it is if it was THEE project, not something other things got put in front of. That, and if I had another ride to mob in while that one was under the knife.

Yeah sounds to me like it'd be a major pain to rewire the whole freakin car.

I kind of like the old VW 16v motor (even though I universally despise VW). It likes side draft carbs, too.
