Default Connection and ISP

What connection are you using and what ISP are you using? How would you rate them from a 1-10, 10 being the best overall satisfaction with the service?

Earthlink, Dial-Up ( :wtc: ). Absolutely stellar service, just ain't fast enough (obviously)

Once settled in Diego, I'll invest in high-speed access...probably cable...so, Diego people, who do you rate highly? :dunno:

Charter cable. At my old apartment it would periodically stop working because I was in an old building with crappy wiring. That sucked balls. So far at my new place I've had no problems.

True, but with the crappy old phone-lines in unincorporated Marin County, the best I can manage is 33.6K....with 2.7-3.8Kbps D/Loads. Maybe 12Kbps at 0300hrs.
