Default Hard driving question

If you lock up all 4 wheels and you have the clutch engaged does the car stall?

Yes, it does - the stopped wheels force the transmission to a stop, which - since the clutch is engaged - forces the engine to a halt. Hence, a stall.

That would depend on the car.

All newer cars you have to push inthe clutch to start it. (In gear or not) but some older cars you dont.

I would also say it depends on how wore out the clutch is.

If you have ABS, you won't lock up.

ABS is only useful in an emergency/rain/snow... if you're just doing some agressive driving, it sucks.
