Yeah, but the places people will be struggling on min. wage would most likely be in a highly populated area, like the bay area/LA/SD, etc....they all have public transportation.

cant they even find a better job ? or are they just too lazy? i think mininum wages are for those who are less fortunate in their mental abilities and/or physical abilities.

Job and career are 2 different things. Job's are what you need to stay alive with for rent and other bills. Career is what you are planning to persue in the future which most of the times pays more :wiggle:

some people cant speak english. some people have limited skills. some people cant afford to go to school to learn more skills. some people dont know better.

Depending on where you live and the cost of living in the area, it'd be possible - assuming you stayed at home without the lights on and rode the bus to work everyday with your spaghetti-o leftovers (which some people do). But why would you? If you can walk, talk, and function like a normal human being you can pretty much find a job that pays higher than minimum wage. The min. wage in WA is $7.10, but places like Best Buy and Costco pay $10-$12 starting.

Yeah, but it's not a big deal since the cost of living is so high. An okay studio around here goes for 750-800/month.
