Default Questions

This means from headers back right?

And what is the difference between the differnet types of stabilizer bars, where does each one go, and do any of them conflict? Just curious, thanks.

Whats the pipe from the header to the cat called? Can you buy that too? Will it all be compatable with a high flow cat and new headers?

strut bars and tie bars, stiffen the chassis. its a brace. strut bars mount on top of the struts, while the tie mounts to the LCAs, i think.

sway bars are part of the suspension. i cant really explain what they do.

A sway bar is a piece of spring steel (i.e. it's made of the same stuff as your springs) that ties each side of a suspension together. With an independent suspension it usually mounts to either lower control arm, and is held to the body of the car (or the subframe) by bushings.

When one side of the suspension compresses (i.e. in a turn) it pushes up on that side of the sway bar. Similarly while the other side of the suspension expands it pulls down on the other side of the swaybar. The bar ties these two opposite forces together, which limits the movement of the suspension. The side of the car that is compressing its suspension compresses less, and the side of the car that is pulling its suspension out, does that less. This reduces body roll. The thicker the sway bar, the less body roll (for that end of the car--front or rear).
