I never saw this happen to a lightbulb. Sylvania Sliverstar 9005 in a 9006 socket(could be how it happened) h:

no, I was really careful about that. They were working fine for about 2-3months.... then just started getting dimmer and dimmer till they just didn't come on one time. :dunno:
