what is the penalty? just wondering. like any branch, im sure its all the same

Not sure what the exact penalty is but this kid I used to hang out with signed up for the marines. They put him up in a hotel the night before he got shipped to boot camp and he bounced in the middle of the night. He came to a party the next night and around 1:00 am 2 military officers showed up, walked in and took him. My guess is it's a very bad idea.

They ain't really gonna do shiet...
Just push your ship off date back for some reason or another, and after a year in the DEP your contract gets voided and you have to take the tests to get in again. SO your free

I don't think he will based on what my recruiter told me...
And I don't think he'd lie to me about skipping out just for the fun of it... or to see for himself what happens if I did...
