Holy shit. It's no mystery why our user base is gone.

Users come here looking for car info, but never register or participate. This damn site looks like something that will steal your private information.
To IB, we're another property that they flow "targeted" advertising dollars thorough.
How it works:
- IB has X number of "specialty" websites. Where "specialty" may include cars, video games, technology, etc.
- IB then installs an advertising plug-in on top of the VB software
- IB sells ads to firms for pennies, claiming all kinds of click-through effectiveness based on context sniffing code
- IB loads up the ads into their publishing engine
- IB lets the ads run for X amount of days
The way IB makes money is by claiming "your ad will be seen on X # of websites". Obviously, they don't care about the impact to the usability of the forum, they just need a large number of forums to boast about.
