I'm running two Raptors in a RAID 0 off a 865PE chipset (native SATA support). It's fast as hell, I should run some benchmarks and compare it. This was the first new machine I built so to me, 72 (well 68 after formatting) Gigs seemed massive to me.

My mobo has the same chipset, but I'm still waiting for bigger capacity Raptors. My current IDE drive is 100MB, and it's not enough.

What do you people have your running a pair of 36G HD's out of space? My old machine had a 6G and a 3G and I had to delete things everyonce in a while to make space but I haven't had to with this machine yet. I'm not big into MP3's or Kazaa though, so I guess that's it.

What's a good benchmark program I can try? I've always been curious?

go to www.download.com and get PCMark2002 for CPU, HD, and Memory benchmarks. get 3DMark2001 or 3DMark03 for video card benchmarks. 3DMark03 is a pretty big file and you need a newer highend videocard to get a decent score.
