question about cops and tickets
you know how sometimes on the freeway and an exit is coming up but traffic is very backed up on the right exit lane. some people would just go all the way up near the exit on the lane next to it and then make a last minute cut to go in. well, at that point it is either a solid or double solid line which is illegal to cross. assuming that two cars do it consecutively and there's a cop behind them, who would the cop give a ticket to if he does decide to give a ticket? there's only one cop so he can only choose to pull one car over.
i swear something like that happened to me earlier this morning on my way to work. i was behind this red camry and he cut into the exit lane and i did the same right behind him. immediately after the exit is a red light. we waited for the light to turn green and then i was still behind him. we crossed about two lights and then a black chevy lumina behind me turned on its mini siren with the annoying blips and beeps telling me to let him pass. i didn't hear it cuz i thought it was my music. well, he passed me violently and then turned on his lights and sirens and the red camry pulled over to the right and they both stopped. i assume it was for the crossing of the solid when he exited which i commited also. just felt lucky i wasn't chosen to be stopped. maybe he did something else before that? i dunno.

but i guess the other guy coulda been black :fawk:
