Anyone know if closing just my savings account will affect my credit rating? The reason I ask is because I always keep my savings below $300 which means they charge $3 a month for an account I almost never leave money in unless i have too much money in my checking account. I use my checking account for everything from paying bills and using debt card at stores and stuff. What you guys think? Close account or try to save $300 and leave it

It'll show on your credit report everytime you open and close an account. But not sure if it will affect it.

I don't think it will effect your credit rating, but you really should try to maintain a savings account. Good money management.
