Default Making a Will

My wife and I have been thinking that it's about time we had a will. Now that we have a kid and house and all that, in case something happens, we need to be prepared. Have any of you guys made one? Where do you start? I know there's a Quicken Willmaker, and they do my taxes good....

I haven't made mine yet because I'm a procrastinator. I allready know where I'm allocating everything. I would just go with a cheap online service.

When you have a kid, and a house, yes.

There is a service that offers free wills to firefighters that our department is signing up for. Probably after the holidays.

i'd get everything together, aka all my assets, and bring it to a lawyer. don't know how well the online programs will do. don't know if each state is different with wording, etc. saves your beneficiaries the hassle of the legitimacy claim on it.
