Its more about the music than the group itself. Trans Siberian Orchestra breaks into 2 groups for the east coast and west coast when they go on tour.

 

I know a guy who played in the orch for the Tran Siberian Christmas special a couple years back. (It was for Michael Crawford's performance) He's dating one of my friends.
They were looking for violinists (what he is) and other musicians with an edge. He's a crazy Russian with long hair who's half of a goth band. I say he fits the description.

 

My bro and sis in law saw them last year. I got them 7th row seats for the concert. This year its gonna be my first time round watching them.

i wanted to see them in vegas...but at $90ish a pop. not anytime soon. i heard they rock.

 

i think they're coming to Bucknell University this year again - 1 hour away!
