dang, you californians start late. Okahoma Christian University, my school, started 4 weeks ago.

Started the day after labor day here.

It's weird with no tv I get so bored on the weekends at the times when I'm not going out that I actually get some homework done. That and during the week I go to class to keep myself occupied.

Maybe the whole "tv rots your brain" argument has some merit. :dunno:

I got my laptop and uh...my laptop.

If I had all that stuff I probably wouldn't do my work and spend all my time playing video games.

As it stands with the internet and DVDs I already waste too much time.

I know what you mean Mike. However, my roommates LOVE television. He bought a 27" tv and brought his PS2. Not to mention my DVD player and home theater system are all setup out in the living room as well. So there are plenty of distractions. Luckily when I'm bored, I just pick out a DVD from my vast collection and throw it on. I still get very little work done here.
