strut bars connect the tops of the shock/chassis. it connects the 2 fronts together, and the 2 rear.

what does it improve? its suppose to make the chassis a little stiff, reducing flex.

I'm a noob on cars. I had my 02 accord for a while but I just started on " hook ups" I should say.
I need to learn a lot more things.

reducing flex will make your car handle better...got a front one...did a lil bit...got the rear one...did a lot...just generic bars too

Dont bother with any strut/tie bar that has hinged ends, whats the point of bracing if it moves? Neuspeed makes good SOLID tie bars. Strut bars do more for looks than anything else.

The bar that will makes the biggest improvement is a rear sway bar uprgrade or addition - lower tie should be used if hard driving is to be done. With the right suspension set-up & tires you could bend or tear the frame when using a large rear sway bar under the right conditions.
