Default Cell phone experts - problem with my LG 5350

Okay so here's the deal.

When I go to charge my LG 5350, the light on the charger will sometimes blink red instead of glow steady red and then turn green when it's finished. Usually it just blinks for a little while and then goes back to normal.

I put my phone on the charger last night before I went to bed, and it was blinking. I woke up today and the charger was still blinking, and the battery on the phone was dead.

Any ideas what's going on?

Hmm, not sure, but if you have a tendancy to charge your battery for long periods of time (overcharge), that can slowly kill your battery.

You might need a new battery.

that happened with my LG TM510. i tried all types of shit to fix that problem.. the thing that worked most often was blowing on the contacts on the battery. it prolly didnt really do anything, kinda like i used to blow into my nintendo games.. but it seemed to work. the other thing i'd do is just keep pulling it off the charger and back on again until it stayed solid red. i just said fuck it and bought a new phone.. and since you have sprint, you can just go to your local best buy and purchase new one without any extra charges, unlike cingular and verizon who make you wait a certain number of months before you can buy a new phone.. check out the sanyo8100 or the samsung VGA 1000.

Ugh, I'd rather not buy another phone if I don't have to. I paid $150 for this one in January.

You might not need too. Batteries are fairly cheap. Chargers are expensive though. It's one of the two.

LG is a good company.. in my 2 years of cell phone sales experience i've seen the most problems with ericcson, samsung, and nokia. in that order.
