I saw Andrew WK last night. This show was so insane. There was no barrier so during every single song there was at least 15 people up on stage not including the band members. It was so awesome. He said, "This is not a concert, because at a concert you sit and watch us entertain you. This is OUR party. We are all in this together."
Within the first like 15 seconds of the first song, this one guy crowd surfed his way on stage. He had a bag with him and opened it up. He had gloves and a mask. It was a wolf and the name of Andrew's new cd is called the Wolf. I thought that was pretty cool.

He's a lot better than most of the other crap nowadays.

 

how so? i could give my 3 year old a casio keyboard and let him pump out tracks about poop and shitty diapers and come up with better material than that choad.

 

yeah...and it's still better than 90% of the crap out nowadays.

He's not that bad...the one song I heard was actually pretty alright.

 

You may think his music sucks, but I seriously know like 10 people who totally hated him and then saw him live and then totally loved him after he put on an amazing show. I admit it, I didn't really like him a lot until I saw him live last year with Flogging Molly. It was totally insane. Hes not there to win Grammys and stuff, hes totally here just to have fun and do what he loves. Obviously he loves his fans, make music, and make people happy and that is just so awesome.

 

awk is so awesome, his music gets me so pumped, and always puts me in a good mood
