i like the si's too, but too expensive (too new i guess, lol) my integra is worth more than i paid for it, retails for about $8,000 and i got it for $6,000. If i wanted the 1999 deep blue civic si that i saw and test drove, i woulda just turned around and sold my car and bought the civic. i really didnt care about which one was faster, which one looks better, but i did care about how each one drove and which one was for me. my sister owns a civic (haha, im not puttin u civicers down or ne thing), and the way it drives is not my style. lol, but if it fits u, then thatz great man. ur gaining in money, which means that ull own an even better car in the future. good luck w. the Si and let me know what u do to it.

a friend of mine ran a 14.9 on his stock 95 gsr with a slipping tranny...

stock v stock, with equal drivers, the Si will lose to the gsr every time.

I'd say that my gs-r and my new si have pretty comparable power. the gs-r was maybe a little faster but not much. however the more i drive my si, the more i love it. i get a lot more compliments on my si too. i have to get some rims for it tho. it's lowered on black steelies. it'll look nice with a set of gunmetal slips i think. i'm gonna post some pics soon when i have access to a dig cam.

No way, unless the GS-R driver sucks. Any GS-R, 92-01, will outrun an Si if the drivers are evenly matched. The torque makes all the difference.

Heh, my buddy has a 2K Si with a N1 catback, AEM CAI, and bumped timing and he STILL lost to my stock GS-R. And this is the guy I let drive my car at the track because I have a slow reaction time. Must admit though, hearing that Si shift right behind is nuts. I love it I love it.

GS-R>Si (unless the Si is boosting)
