Default advice on getting started with cars?

so i've been thinking about going around to a few different import shops around here and asking if i could volunteer my time there. because 1) it gives me some experience working at a shop around cars all day and 2) it gives me something to do after school other than spend all day on HAN :happysad:

I could see that maybe happening but usually shops are very "tight" clicks. I was going to do that. But once I hit 16 im going to go to dealerships and see if I can be the boy who takes the cars to the carwash on the weekends. h:

it wont hurt noopy but it will probably help to know how to drive and have a license/insurance since most likely you will be the fetch it bitch.

yeah, i have friends who detail cars...great easy job, usually they're real cool at the dealer. any way you can learn about cars that you'll enjoy is worth doing..i mean sometimes i sit on HAN to learn about cars, it works...sometimes :thumbup:

those brakes/body classes..
they come in handy....dont work for shops

im in an rop auto body class right now. thats all we cover though, body repair. it would be nice to work on other things too.

they're about a 30 min-hour drive from me. i was thinking motorsport dynamics which is only 5 miles away. h:
