I see what the hell you guys are talkign about now.. the name of hte ride you are talkign about is "bobsleads" the MOUNTAIN is called the matterhorn. it holds 2 rides. the train ride known as The matterhorn back in 1979 has an addition ride placed at the top of the Mt known as the Bobsleds. So you are right and I am right. No harm no foul.

man i'm a local. i know at least 20 people that work for disney right now do you want me to ask them what happened? do you want me to ask them what this ride is called and that ride is called? do you want some hard evidence some pictures? and yes snoop i don't know why the hell i'm argrueing this but it feels good to let off some steam after dealing with idiots in public school where u can't tell them off or else they'll screw with ur car...

where did this come from?...
The mountain is called THE MATTERHORN. There was only ONE ride...TWO if you counted the ride that use to go through the Matterhorn. The only ride was called THE BOBSLEDS OF MATTERHORN. The second if you called it a ride through the Matterhorn was called the SKYWAY. Hence why the side of the MATTERHORN mountain has two holes through it. The SKYWAY use to pass right through it. IF there was another train by the Matterhorn...it was the Monorail that went ALONG the side of the Matterhorn and stops at the Fantasyland station BY the lake where the Submarine Voyage use to be that the MATTERHORN waterfalls spill into.

Splash Mountain in Disneyland was built before the one in WDW. The Bobsleds of Matterhorn was built BEFORE Splash Mountain. How is what you said possible?

the MOUNTAIN that the train for what you are calling Thundar Mt goes throuhg is the Matterhorn.
Matterhorn Mountain was built in 1979 to host the opening of Disneyland and held one ride. which was a high speed rollercoaster train ride. The idea was coppied to WDW and named Thundar Mountian.
