Default Scammed, how can I get money back?

ok, I let a friend sell my 96 gsr whhels to someone he went to school with, and a muffler, fo 150 (yeah I know mega cheap) well this was all done arounde april. the guy gave my friend 50 bucks for the muffler but still owes me for the rims

what I know

the guys name on AIM is TypeRdragger
his car is a 2ng gen ls teg/ red I believe and it will have black 96 gsr wheels
his name is darell tankersly (but his last name may not be the same as the owner of the phone where he used to live)
he went to a all boys high school (I know where it is)
he now go's to randolph macon college in ashland Va

there are a few things Iv considered on how to try to get in conntect with this guy

1. drive to his college find his car, take my rims back and replace them with his old one's and leave a note on his wind shield reading (Owned Bitch, Pay on time next time you want to scam someone)
2. go to his old high school and asked if they haev a directery of what his phone number is (old house so I can talk to his parents/threaten legal actions)
3. go through the phone book and call every person with the last nmae of Tankersly and ask if they have a son by the name of Darell and do the same as number 2.
4> sugest something

so what should I do? I have no udea of his phone number, age, wher he lives, where he works.. nothing

Someone could report you if you attempt #1. Even if they are yours... I'm sure you don't want a cop watching you take rims off someone's car.

you have no proof those rims belong to you, so no1 is a bad way to meet the police.
