MB is 8 times greater than Mb

1MB = 8Mb

but yeah I doubt you are getting 8xxMb/s transfer rate.

EDIT, Just tested again 3 times and got 446Mb 652Mb and 826Mb

look like you're on comcast. even if you work for comcast and running the test at work you wont get that kind of results.


Hell at 446Mb/s you're running a 1/2 gigibit speeds which is still faster than an OC3 connection!
