how do I set up wireless dsl for my laptop?

wireless router (if you want to be wireless at home too) and a wireless pc card for your laptop.

That I know... but it would work with wireless dsl?

I assumed most college lines are T1.. etc... I wasn't aware they were compatible

wireless range from a router is less than 150ft

you need a wireless card and you have to be at a place that has a wireless network. otherwise if youre asking to continue using your home dsl service outside, no that wont work

yea


its not gonna happen man.

You're school would need a wireless system setup, and you'd have to register with them.

the best systems only have a few dozen feet signal, ie: my buddy has a wireless router setup in his basement (finished basement, there's a PC down there too) and his room, which is dead opposite end of the house, two story house, so through three floors of house, he gets about 50% signal. So maybe a around 200 feet or so... no way you're gonna get signal at school.
